Everything was simply very good. There was nearby ess-a-bagel to grab something to eat.
-
great views. the snack bar was a delightful surprise. the setting was within walking distance everything we wanted to visit, like rockefeller center.
-
Because we stayed 8 days in NY, we have chosen for the suite, the room is spacious and pleasant. Very quiet, especially for New York standards. Bathroom is tight, but enough.Kitchenette is a bit strange, only a microwave and toaster and a 1980 coffee maker, the bar / breakfast room top-floor is very pleasant, location in Manhattan is great, price/quality ratio is good.
Dimensions of the bathroom Equipment in the kitchenette.

Everyone starting with the bellhops and finishing with the servers at breakfast were absolutely phenomonal!!!! This is our 4th summer there and we will be staying there every summer in the future or until the building is no longer there!!!!

Location was good for shopping and dining in nyc. The rooms were large and had small kitchenettes which were good for us traveling with young children.
No swimming pool.

The location is perfect for midtown shopping, theatre, Central Park, anand other major attractions such as Rockefeller Center. The hotel is beautifully appointed, with a small, intimate feel. The elegant rooftop lounge "Upstairs" offers a lovely view of the area. The Sunday brunch cruise down the East River to sail past the Statue of Liberty was a highlight of our trip. We shall be returning.
-
The staff and location of the hotel were excellent. The suite was clean and inviting and the bed was very comfortable. We ordered room service and were very pleased with the quality and portions of the dinner, as well as the service.
The internet costs over $12 per day. This in itself is alot, on top of everything else, but it had been indicated and we knew that when we booked. What we did not know, was that the charge applies to every device you may want to connect. We have never encountered that before and it was quite a surprise. Needless to say, at that price, we had to limit ourselves to one device. During our stay, the Hotel needed to shut off the water for several hours to switch over to a new system. After the switch over, we returned to the room to find no cold water. Housekeeping sent someone up, and he managed to fix it, luckily.

We didnt use any services beyond valet, but the room was excellent. We were upgraded to a studio which had a little kitchenette and an excellent bathroom. The windows were relatively soundproof and the furniture was excellent.
-
Wonderful hotel, staff is spectacular, especially the concierge named Roger. He gave us numerous advice in regards to restaurants and the area and his advice was invaluable. We will definetely stay here again.
-
The location is great. Walk everywhere! We drove in and the garage across the street from the hotel was only $28 per 24 hours with a vochure from the hotel. We had a suite on the eight floor that was very roomy. Beds were comfortable. You can access a/c or heat when you need it. Little kitchen is handy. The staff were friendly and helpful.
No wifi. (12.95 per day) although they did have two computers off the lobby to use.
-
Excellent hotel ... very nice room and facilties. Bar / breakfast on top floor was amazing! Staff made us feel very welcome. Great hotel and we will be back!
We could not regulate the temperature in the room - centrally controlled and the room was a bit warm (for us) There was a private function in the top floor bar on our 1st night it would have been more professional if we were told about this when we checked in.
-
The hotel was very comfortable, the bed was great, and the room very clean and well appointed. We love the balcony, and the new Penthouse area.
The front desk is usually staffed with just one person. There is almost always a wait for services, even simple questions.
-
The newly redone room was spacious and beautifully appointedand the bath products wwer of good quality. There was mini fride, a microwave and tea and coffee avaialable..The suite was elegant in every way. We alos really enjoyed the rooftop breakfast. It was delicious The staff were pleasnt and helpful...

Helpful doormen, complimentary breakfast was a nice bonus, great location, overall friendliness of staff, large room size, lovely penthouse outdoor lounge

Staff was lovely and welcoming. We stayed in a renovated room, and it was spotless and very comfortable. Also, housekeeping located a chain and pants mistakenly left in the room and returned them much to our pleasure and relief. Very responsive staff. Breakfast buffet was terrific but too popular! Loved the experience at this hotel and hope to return soon!
Wish the rooftop bar had longer hours, opened earlier and stayed open later.
